Sanjay Garyali
Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer
Sanjay Garyali joined Fusion in March 2025. With over 28 years of experience in the finance industry, he brings a wealth of expertise in retail financial markets and a deep understanding of the key drivers in the sector. Prior to joining Fusion Sanjay led the Urban Finance business of L&T Finance, where he successfully managed a large portfolio consisting of two-wheeler, consumer loans, and mortgages. Earlier in his career, he was associated with Kotak Mahindra bank, where he managed home finance and emerging market mortgages, focusing on channels, products, and collections.
Remika Agarwal
Non-Executive Director
Remika Agarwal joined Creation Investments in January 2020 and currently serves as Director and Country Head – India. She possesses extensive experience in Non-Banking Financial Companies (“NBFCs”) and credit markets. She has previously served on the Boards of Sonata Finance Private Limited, Kissandhan Agri Financial Services Private Limited and North End Foods Marketing Private Limited. At present, she is serving on the Boards of CISV India Private Limited and Desiderata Impact Ventures Private Limited.
Earlier, she headed Structured Finance & Products at Northern Arc Capital, where she conducted detailed due diligence on companies, assessed business risks, and launched several innovative products. Prior to that, she worked with ICRA Ratings, covering the financial services sector in depth – including NBFCs and banks – which gave her substantial expertise in India’s financial services markets. Ms. Agarwal holds a Master of Business Administration from the Management Development Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Statistics, and Mathematics from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. Her expertise and experience in India’s financial services sector will contribute significantly to the Company’s strategic priorities.
Ratna Vishwanathan

Ratna Viswanathan was the CEO of MFIN. She built a strong Self Regulating Organisation in line with the sector supervision mandate of the RBI and brought in a strong sense of credibility for the sector as far as the external world is concerned . She has put in place a very valuable property in terms of the international microfinance conclave which is now an annual feature and has enhanced the visibility of the sector.
In the development sector she has served at very senior levels in well-known international NGOs such as Oxfam and VSO. She steered these entities through critical change management processes as they transitioned from international liaison offices to ‘full fledged Indian entities’.
Namrata Kaul
Independent Director
Namrata Kaul is a career banker with extensive experience of over 33 years across Treasury , Corporate Banking , Debt Capital markets and Corporate finance in India and UK. As Managing Director at Deutsche Bank AG, Namrata led the Corporate Bank practice as its India Head. She was also responsible for managing risk, credit, compliances and regulatory reporting for the Corporate portfolio of the Bank. In Deutsche Bank U.K., as part of the Strategic Leadership Team aiming to strengthen cross border networks , she set up an Asia Desk in London. Namrata was a member of the Deutsche Bank Asia Executive Committee, a Member of the Board of Deutsche Bank India, and a founding member of the Deutsche Bank Diversity Council.
She currently serves as Independent Director on several Boards including Vivriti Capital , Schneider Electric , Bhopal Smart City Development Corporation and Prime Securities Ltd.
Namrata is a Chevening scholar from the London School of Economics, she holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, and is a Management Postgraduate from IIM Ahmedabad.

Hemant Mundra

Hemant Mundra is a Managing Director at Warburg Pincus, possesses extensive and highly relevant experience in Non-Banking Financial Companies (“NBFC”) and Housing Finance Companies (“HFC”). Currently he is serving on the Boards of other NBFCs and HFCs viz. Vistar Financial Services Private Limited, Avanse Financial Services Limited and Truhome Finance Limited (formerly Shriram Housing Finance Limited). Mr. Mundra is a postgraduate from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Certified CFA Level 3 from CFA Institute and BTech in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
He has a doctorate (PhD) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, master’s in business from the J. L. Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University) and a bachelor’s in engineering (Computer Science) from Mangalore University. He is a life member of IOD and former TIE (The IndUS Entrepreneurs) Charter member in North America.

Brahmanand Hegde
Independent Director
Brahmanand Hegde is a seasoned finance professional and entrepreneur, boasting over 30 years of experience, with deep expertise in microfinance, rural banking, and financial inclusion.
He is a founder and one of the key promoters of Vistaar Finance, a Bengaluru-based financial services company he helped establish in 2010, focused on designing tailored credit solutions for small businesses and livelihood sectors.
He is currently associated as an Independent Director of Varthana Finance and Kaabil Finance.
Before founding Vistaar, Mr. Hegde played a pivotal role in building the microfinance business at Fullerton India as Director – Microfinance, where he was part of the core team that conceptualized, developed and launched the business in India around 2007.
Prior to that, he spent over a decade at ICICI Bank in its Rural and Microbanking Group, managing strategy and execution and working closely with the microfinance sector. His early work at ICICI also included agricultural project financing under programmes like the Agriculture Commercialisation & Enterprise (ACE) for USAID.
Academically, Mr. Hegde holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, and is a qualified CAIIB (Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers) from the Indian Institute of Bankers, Mumbai. He has pursued advanced management studies from Santa Clara University.
